1. It's OK to Be Uncomfortable
If you haven't ever been on an adventure it might seem a bit daunting or even downright terrifying, but it's all about getting out of your comfort zone and exploring new places! The outdoors has so much to offer between health benefits and impactful inspiration—don't let a little bit of discomfort get in the way of spending meaningful time breathing the fresh air and taking in nature's beauty. Start small!
2. Lead By Example
The best way to share the love of the outdoors is leading by example. Make it a priority to spend time outdoors, whether it’s going for a hike, camping, or simply taking a walk in the park. When others see how much you enjoy spending time outside, they may be inspired to do the same. Everybody has to start somewhere.
3. Invite Others to Join You
Another great way to share the love of outdoors is by inviting others to join you on your outdoor adventures. This could be friends, family, or even co-workers. By inviting others to join you, you’re not only sharing your passion for the outdoors, but you’re also creating memories and strengthening relationships. Creating a support system makes things easier and adds some accountability to be more consistent.
4. Share Your Knowledge & Resources
Lastly, sharing your knowledge and resources about the outdoors can help others develop a love for it as well. Offer tips on how to plan a successful camping trip, recommend great hiking trails, or share your favorite outdoor gear. By sharing your knowledge and resources, you’re helping others feel more comfortable and confident in their own outdoor adventures. Share your adventures with us on social media, or just chat with friends and family about the good times you have had. You might find you know more than you think!
