If you’re looking for a compact little stool, stop the search this it. I bought several over the years and wish I bought this one first! I’m 5’11” 210pounds, the stool works great and very sturdy. I bought one for my wife and I to bring on adventures, camping, boating (around the docks/beach), hiking, watching fireworks on the 4th, etc.
I’ve been using the Mayfly for years and love it! It’s my backpacking, backyard, and beach chair. It’s also great for music festivals.
I like the bag. It is large enough to carry all the things I need it to carry. I like the fabric and the fact it can be folded up small. My only complaint is the strap is to long. it could also be that I am short and it hangs low down on my legs. Maybe, just a thought to have the strap with a adjustment, but other wise it is a good bag
I got this tall stool primarily for fishing ponds. The light weight makes it easy to carry on my wader belt. Its height allows easy standing to land fish using a net. The seat is very tight, but that is needed to ensure the tripods stay extended. The use of the ground for leverage allows somewhat easy installation and breakdown of the seat. I recommend this especially for us older anglers.
This was a product that I round to good to be true, but after having it for about a month or so and using it a couple times I really enjoy it. I’m over 6ft and about 285 and fit good, it is smaller than traditional hammocks but still comfortable. I do only cold hikes and this has been good so far. Used it a couple times in 30 degree weather and have been comfortable on nothing else but tshirt and shorts. I’m am typing this right now from my backyard hanging above 6inches of snow.
